Recently, some Na! Na! Na! Surprise dolls were designed with garments that were not appropriate for children. These designs were an attempt to stay consistent with the overall theme of the dolls’ attire, but they were too adult and inappropriate for children. Parents were rightly offended by these products, and we sincerely apologize.

We like to believe that toys like our Na! Na! Na! Surprise dolls – by embracing different tastes, skin tones, and hairstyles – help the children that play with them see themselves in the world around them in a positive way. But in this instance, we didn’t succeed. We will work twice as hard to earn back your trust.

  • How did this happen?

    These designs were created in an attempt to stay consistent with the overall theme of the dolls’ attire. They were misguided and inappropriate. We are adding robust new quality oversight procedures to ensure that – while we remain a place where creative innovation can happen – we never for a moment lose sight of the users of our products.

  • Are there any other issues with the dolls?

    No – there are no safety concerns with these any of the dolls.
